F.A.Q
Checkout some overview questions about the Soll X and some of it's features and how they work.
What is the difference between Sol X and Sol Eclipse?
Some of the main differences are:
- Brand new electrical system with torque sensor, electronic and automatic shifting, new PAS system with automatic function.
- Included fenders and rear rack.
- Brighter front light with brighter lighting and head/low beam function.
- Included rear light with turn signals and brake light.
- Electric horn instead of a standard bell.
- Brand new Blix App with increased functionality

How does Auto Shift work?
Auto-Shift is an optional feature that provides a seamless experience where the bike will shift gears on its own, based on your cadence, speed, power output, and current hill gradient. This makes it so you do not have to shift at all yourself.
What do the different Ride Modes do?
There are 4 modes for pedal assist:
- Eco Mode provides the lowest level of motor assist, relying heavily on rider power. This offers the most range.
- Tour Mode goes halfway in providing motor assist, relying evenly on the motor and on rider power. This offers a bit less range, but the most balanced performance
- Turbo Mode provides the most motor assist, and is great for getting you up to top speed easily! It offers the least amount of range.
- Auto Mode intelligently adjusts the motor power based on the amount of power your legs put into pedaling, offering the most natural riding performance. It also allows you to trigger Auto Shifting. Off Mode provides no electrical assist (ouch!). However, you can still use the throttle.
What is the difference between the new torque sensor vs. the old cadence sensor?
While cadence sensors provide specific pedal assist levels tied to a specific speed, torque sensors provide speed based on the power the rider puts into the bike. In short, the harder you pedal, the more motor power you will get! This provides a more natural-feeling rider experience.
What is the ebike class rating of this bike?
The Sol X is a class 2 ebike that can be changed to a class 3 ebike with the Blix app, increasing the pedal assist top speed from 20 mph to 28 mph.
How much does the Sol X weigh?
The Sol X weighs 62 lbs with the battery installed, and 57 lbs without the battery.
Can I use the new App on iPhone or Android?
