Shipping & Return Policy
1. Shipping
1.1 Shipping Coverage
We currently ship within the United States only. Orders are shipped via FedEx, UPS, or USPS. Please note that carriers cannot deliver to PO Boxes or APO/FPO addresses.
1.2 Signature Requirement
A signature is required upon delivery of e-bikes to ensure safe and confirmed receipt.
1.3 Shipping Costs & Timeline
- Shipping is free within the 48 contiguous states in the U.S., except for remote island areas.
- Orders typically ship from our California warehouse and arrive within 3–7 business days.
1.4 Delivery Responsibility
- Blix ships to the exact address provided at checkout.
- We are not responsible for assembly costs, third-party service fees, or coordination with local bike shops.
- Blix is not liable for loss, theft, or carrier-related damage reported after 14 business days of confirmed delivery. Customers are responsible for submitting any claims within this period.
1.5 Address Changes
Shipping addresses cannot be modified after an order has been placed. If an incorrect address is entered, the order must be canceled, refused, or returned to sender.
1.6 Refused Shipments / Return to Sender
- If delivery is refused, the address is incorrect, or multiple delivery attempts fail, the order will be returned to Blix.
- A $200 return handling fee per e-bike will be deducted from your refund to cover round-trip shipping and inspection costs.
- Customers must notify Blix within 5 business days after a failed delivery to initiate a refund.
- Refunds will be processed after the returned item is received and inspected.
2. Returns & Exchanges
2.1 Return Eligibility & Condition
Returns are accepted within 30 calendar days of delivery for e-bikes that meet all of the following conditions:
- The e-bike shows less than 30 miles (48 km) on the odometer.
- The bike is in new or like-new condition, free from scratches, damage, or modifications.
- All original packaging, tools, and accessories are included.
E-bikes with 10–30 miles of use or minor cosmetic wear will incur a refurbishment fee of up to $200, based on inspection. E-bikes showing more than 30 miles, visible wear, or damage will not be eligible for return. Odometer readings and physical condition will be verified during inspection.
2.2 Return Authorization (RMA) Process
All returns must be pre-approved and assigned a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) before being shipped back. Please contact customer@blixbike.com to obtain your RMA.
Your RMA request must include:
- Order number
- Photos showing the bike serial number, odometer reading, full left/right sides, and packaging condition
Once approved:
- Blix will provide a prepaid return label for e-bikes.
- Accessories must be shipped at the customer’s expense (see Section 2.3 below).
Unauthorized returns or shipments without an RMA will be refused or delayed.
2.3 Return Shipping & Fees
E-Bikes
- A $150 return shipping fee applies per e-bike.
- Lightly used bikes (10–30 miles) will be subject to an additional refurbishment fee of up to $200, depending on inspection results.
- All deductions will be clearly itemized in your refund notice.
- Customers are responsible for any damage that occurs during return transit.
- Return shipping and handling fees are non-negotiable and will be deducted automatically from the refund.
Accessories
Accessories can be returned within 30 calendar days of delivery if they are unused, undamaged, and in original packaging. Customers are responsible for return shipping costs, as follows:

All accessory returns require RMA authorization and must be shipped using a trackable method. Shipping costs are non-refundable and will be deducted from the total refund.
2.4 Shipping Damage & Inspection
Please inspect your order immediately upon delivery. If you notice visible damage or missing items, contact customer@blixbike.com with photos within 72 hours of delivery. Blix will verify your claim, coordinate with the carrier, and provide a prepaid return label or replacement if warranted. Claims reported after this period will not qualify for carrier compensation.
2.5 Battery Returns & Safety Compliance
Due to U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) and PHMSA regulations, lithium batteries cannot be shipped directly by customers. All battery-related returns or exchanges require written RMA authorization.
Blix will provide DOT-compliant packaging and arrange carrier pickup or prepaid shipping through authorized partners. Unauthorized or improperly packaged battery shipments will be refused or disposed of without refund for safety compliance. Blix reserves the right to refuse any returns that violate DOT or carrier safety regulations. This policy aligns with 49 CFR hazardous materials regulations and FedEx/UPS lithium transport standards.
2.6 Refunds
Refunds are issued to the original payment method within 7–10 business days after inspection and approval. If a refund cannot be processed to the original payment method, Blix will issue a store credit gift card of equal value. A refund confirmation and fee breakdown will be emailed for transparency.
2.7 Non-Refundable Items
- Bikes used more than 30 miles or with visible damage
- Items returned after 30 days of delivery
- Gift cards
- Unauthorized returns without an RMA
- Final-sale or promotional items marked “non-refundable”
- Purchases made through third-party retailers (please contact the original seller directly)
- Purchases from unauthorized resellers or marketplaces
2.8 Abandoned Returns
If a return is rejected after inspection, customers will be notified and must provide a prepaid label to retrieve their item. Items not retrieved within 60 days will be considered abandoned and will be responsibly recycled or disposed of. Blix is not responsible for any loss or compensation related to abandoned items.
