Now, I have a total of four ebikes. This one from blix blows the other ones out of the water! I particularly like, how it rides. Because the battery is strategically placed low behind the seat stem, it really works good for the overall center of gravity. Ride is stable, even around tight corners. Pick-up torque of the planetary geared motor is strong and top speed is more than sufficient. Disc breaks are working well. The integrated bell shows attention to detail and is simply a smart idea. Command center display is easy to read and shows all the information, that I had hoped for. The paint job is gorgeous! Packaging is designed very well, and the bike arrived in perfect condition all the way from California to Ohio. Putting it together was quick, simple and straight forward. Everything on this bike looks well thought through. It has passed my critical eye as a mechanic and an engineer.

I'm a 60 year old woman who has been riding bikes for a long time. I wanted a bike that is easier to peddle up hills, etc. as I get older. The bike is fun to ride, but I feel a little unstable on it for several reasons. It is very heavy for a woman to get into her hatchback, impossible to lift to a bike rack, or up steps to get in the house, and while riding it just feels heavy duty and heavy for me. I must say, it has way, WAY more power than I expected. It feels like a motorcycle to me! I ride in power assist mode 1 mostly, and even that is almost too fast, yet it's really, really hard to peddle with no power assist. It is a bumpy ride due to no shocks. I don't like that part at all. If you go over any kind of bumps it makes me feel very unstable on the bike, like I may lose control and fall. My left foot hits into the kickstand a lot, unless I adjust my foot on the peddle. It's a learning curve. I think the kickstand is placed too close to the peddle. I hit into it a lot as I peddle. I like the bike, but I'm a bit uncomfortable on it. It gets away from me (speed and bumpiness) I had an accident on the first time out, and ended up with two black eyes because the throttle was so fast and I hit into a curb, and my face hit the handle bars! Ouch!! Watch out for the speed until you get used to it. Good points: it's cute, folding is easy, battery lasts a very, very long time, no problems getting up hills, comes almost totally assembled, very good quality. I think it's a big adjustment going from a thin tire, bigger manual bike to this compact, tight, sturdy and very POWERFUL bike. Once I get used to it, I think I'll like it more. It's just super powerful (maybe too much so for me). I wish I would've been able to try it out before I purchased it online. I hope I get more used to it and I think I'll enjoy it. Just be careful!!!

The first thing I did with this bicycle was to throw it in the backseat of my car and take it on vacation with me. The first 20 miles on this bike were amazing! Dirt roads and paths in the woods, at night too. So much fun! It has a lot of power, more than expected. It only has one small hangup that happens occasionally, in pedal assist mode 1 sometimes nothing happens. It’s the same as being in Mode zero. Even if I push it up to mode three or four, and then back down to one, it’s the same. The rest of the modes work normally. I’m wondering if I go faster than mode 1, does it not do anything I also entered into some sort of background information on the read out dashboard and I’m wondering what the default settings are, and how to find it

We live in Manhattan, NY. I researched for months before making this purchase. There is a 34 mile bike path around the city that we wanted to explore. We have enjoyed these bikes so much!!! It is a comfortable ride.
