Blix Electric Bikes is seeking an outgoing and enthusiastic individual to fill the role of the entry level Digital Content & Marketing Assistant position. This position will support weekly social network, email, and blog content development and posting, implementing company marketing strategies, supporting events and manage outreach to media and influencers for product reviews. This is a 15-25 hour a week position.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
- Tell the story of Blix through our social content and platforms
- Help create, manage, and execute digital content calendar for Blix social properties.
- Create, implement, and manage digital content
- Monitor and respond to social feedback and comments
- Create, format and distribute customer and dealer e-newsletters
- Manage programs that require dealer and customer feedback for content development
- Execute outreach to media and industry professionals for product reviews and company coverage
- Support in organizing, executing and promoting events
- Support Marketing Manager in any additional projects and tasks
Additional Duties
- Support customer support team when needed
Position Requirements
Knowledge:
- Excellent writing and proofreading skills, including superior attention to detail
- Strong knowledge/understanding of:
- Social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc.)
- Current trends in the digital/social world
- Proficient skills in Google Docs
- Well organized and able to multitask
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently
- Ability to communicate with coworkers in a professional manner
- Willingness to learn
- Positive attitude
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree or Degree in Progress
2+ years of experience in Social Media, Digital Media, and/or Journalism
Availability:
- Available to work Monday through Friday (flexible hours)
- Available to work the occasional weekends to assist with events
