I got the Vika+ 5 weeks ago. I love it! I had given away my last beloved bike 5 years ago due to knee issues and living in a hilly area. I now have new knees and a new e-bike and am so happy being able to ride again.
I test rode the Aveny and the Vika and loved both. I decided on the Vika due to the portability. I am a 69 y.o. woman and can get the folded bike , after removing the battery, into the back of my Prius by myself. I do put an extra strap around it to ensure it does not open in the process.
It took a little getting used to starting with the throttle, but now I have the hang of it. It is easier to get going with the throttle than without it. Thanks to advice from the FB Blix Owners group for that. I recommend anyone considering a Blix to check out that group.
I check the bike before every ride, but I have not found any problems with any of the folding mechanisms loosening, which had been a concern. The bike feels stable and just fun! It has a good turning radius. I have been able to adjust the seat and handle bar heights to be comfortable for my 5'6" frame.
I have not really "tested" the battery range, since I have not taken any rides more than 15 miles yet, but I intend to soon. I like that I can take the battery off very easily and charge it in the house.
I would recommend Blix bikes for their quality and their customer service.
