I was nervous about investing in an e-bike but I’m really loving it! My main goals were to ride to the beach and commute to work (local Jr High) The beach is no problem and neither is getting to work or Downtown Santa Cruz! I take the scenic route home from work which adds an extra 1.5 miles but with it’s no big deal with the powerful motor! I appreciate the throttle when I need to get up a hill or through an intersection. I have some arthritis and now biking is some cardio I can actually do! I love the cushy saddle and low step through frame. Also the convenience of being able to remove the battery for charging! I wish there was just a little suspension in the seat and that the handle bars could rotate or fold up for storage. I know there are folding bikes but comfort is king!
We live in a busy tourist town with limited parking and have been avoiding downtown because of traffic and parking limitations and costs. The new bikes are a game changer! Plus they are very cool looking and fun to ride. We are very happy with both of them.
I love it wondering if you make basket for front for my dog she’s 10 lb I don’t want put her on back I have basket does your front racket fit any basket?
My wife and I are retired and my wife has had 7 major surgeries on her spine over the past 9 years. Her pain levels are off the chart in a daily basis. We had conventional bikes and rode them as often as we could just to get outbid the house and get a little exercise. I cannot tell you the amount of times my wife and I would depart on a bike ride only to go a few miles and my wife then being unable to physically ride her bike back to the house due to extreme pain. Countless times I rode home, got the SUV and went back to where my wife was waiting. Bike into back of SUV and home we went. We thought of a stationary indoor bike for my wife, however, living in South Florida, she wanted to get out and about with me, in an effort to enjoy both the weather and the local wildlife in our area (burrowing owls, iguanas, egrets, eagles, etc.), along with her daily exercise. Her Dr recommended an electric bike as an option to meet her needs. I purchased the Blix Sol in October 2022 for her. Fantastic!! She could now ride back home on “power mode”…cannot say enough about how this was the game changer. Only problem now was being elderly and disabled myself, I found it difficult to keep up with her as our bike rides were now an hour or two in duration. We then decided the best option was for me to purchase a Blix Sol Eclipse for myself. What a difference this has made to our “ ow daily” bike rides. We get “out and about”, get the exercise we may need for the day and have our small “adventures” as we are no longer restricted to the surrounding neighborhood for our rides. I strongly recommend e-bikes and more importantly, a BLIX e-bike. The shooort we have received from Blix is second to none.
I have been riding bike for many years. As I’ve gotten older I developed some arthritis in my knees and found it more difficult to ride, especially on a windy day or up a hill. I decided to look into getting an ebike thinking that pedal assist what just what I needed. I wanted a bike that would give me a comfortable ride, where I would be sitting upright. I’m also on the short side and did not want to have to lean forward to reach the handles. I did ALOT of research online, but when I saw the Blix Sol, I knew it was the bike for me! My husband wanted to get it for me as a gift, he knew how much I enjoyed bike riding and also thought the Blix was my best option. I had a bit of a wait to receive my Sol, but when it arrived, I was thrilled. I also ordered a front basket, fenders and back rack. I ordered my bike and accessories in Seafoam, and it looks great! I’ve had many compliments on my bike. I’ve been riding all summer weather permitting, putting on about 15-20 miles a day.As of today, I have 840 mile on my Sol. My goal is 1,000 miles by the end of summer. I no longer have to worry about trying to ride into the wind, or make it up a hill. With my Sol, it’s no problem. I usually use the pedal assist 2, as I don’t want the bike to do all the work, however I bump it up to 3 when riding into a strong headwind or going up a hill. Most of my riding is on the Mountain Bay Trail, which is an 83 mile trail that goes though my town. I enjoy riding in the country, where I’ve seen eagles, deer, coyote, fox and too many more critters to list! Love! Love! Love! my Blix Sol.
