In this position you will design and lead our Social, Content, PR and Partnership strategies. You will also be in direct contact with customers by phone, email, chat and social media channels. You have a passion for marketing and will accept nothing less than a best-in-class marketing strategy and execution.



Who are you?

You’re a captivating storyteller and brand evangelist with the main focus to grow our brand awareness and engagement, and make sure all communication touch points are according to brand guidelines. Word of mouth marketing is critical to our success and you will identify opportunities to build on this and create a community of happy and loyal Blix riders.

 

Here's what you'll do day-to-day:

Brand engagement

  • Responsible and accountable for a brand engagement strategy and execution.
  • Ensure communication from our team across all customer touch points aligns with brand guidelines
  • Create a strong and loyal Blix community to ensure customer satisfaction and continues spread of the Blix brand
  • Work with team to stay up to date on market developments, consumer behavior and competition. Maintain strong proactive knowledge of target customer, retail and marketing trends.
  • Engage with our customers to understand and bring insights to how to best tell our story to reach and engage customers


Social

  • Develop and execute strategy for both blog and social media marketing to drive loyalty/ retention, and reach new customers
  • Develop clear metrics to measure and analyze our progress according to the strategy
  • Drive customer engagement and build a platform for customer communication, loyalty/retention and support
  • Develop and execute strategies to increase online traffic and sales through paid advertising on social media

PR & Partnerships

  • Develop a media relations strategy and coordinate all PR activities
  • Monitor and analyze PR results
  • Evaluate opportunities for partnerships, sponsorships and advertising on an on-going basis.
  • Build relationships with thought leaders to grow industry awareness
  • Identify partners and create strong relationships for co-marketing initiatives for advertising, social or events

  • Love storytelling and inspire people
  • You’re outgoing, social and love networking and engage in a community
  • Are proactive, positive, outgoing attitude with attention to detail
  • Are organized, self-driven, creative and like to solve problems
  • Have a good understanding of multichannel marketing principles; and have a digital or CRM background inclusive of acquisition, conversion and loyalty/retention

Requirements:

  • 2-3 years experience in communications and social media marketing
  • Basic knowledge in Word, Power Point and Excel
