We could all use a reason to celebrate. And what better excuse to get outside with the ones you love than Father’s Day? Ahead of this summer holiday, we asked a few Blix dad’s what they had in mind.

 Parkin's Plan  

As an actor and daily surfer, Scott Parkin is used to going big. But this year, you won’t find him anywhere near the water. Vegas, here he comes. With his daughter by his side, the two are planning to make their way down the Las Vegas strip, hopefully making a profit along the way. “My daughter gets her competitive streak from me so there’s no telling what this trip could turn into.”

Back on the California coast, John has something a bit sweeter in mind. His regular Sunday morning treat, donuts. “My wife is a lifeguard for LA County and we live about a ten minute bike ride from the beach. During sunny weekends, it’s impossible to find parking near her tower. Now I load my two children up on Packa and we always stop for donuts on the way. This Father’s Day, I’m looking forward to a sugary picnic with my wife and children.”

 Alex's Agenda  

Keeping the good flavors rolling is the Borishkevich clan. Alex, a Father of Selah and husband to Liana is living proof that a way to a man’s heart is through his stomach. “We’re planning to sit back, relax and have a barbecue. My wife and I love being outside so as long as the weather cooperates, that’s where we’ll be.”
